Obituary

Kevin J. Lynch Kevin J. Lynch , 73 of Brockton, passed away Monday March 2, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. Spaulding Lynch. Born December 12, 1941 in Brockton, MA he was a son of the late George Francis and Dorothy N. (Langley) Lynch. He was a graduate of Brockton High School and longtime resident of the city. Kevin was in the United States Navy and also belonged to the Coast Guard Auxiliary in New Bedford. He was a teacher and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, flying, trains, and his trips to New Orleans with Uncle Jack. Kevin was also a member of the Randolph Elks, the Bertocci, Club National, the Enterprise Club and the Acushnet River Safe Boat Club. He is survived by his two sons, David J. Lynch and his loving companion Helen Spillane of Brockton and Sean M. Lynch, also of Brockton; Granddaughter, Jordan M. Lynch and sister, Carol A. (Lynch) Stevens of West Bridgewater, as well as many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Dr. George D. Lynch of Hanover and the late brother of Gerald D. Lynch of Avon. The Lynch family also wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Baypointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center and the Good Samaritan Medical Center for the wonderful care that was given to Mr. Lynch. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Private cremation will follow. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 8:00PM.
