Kevin W. St. George, 92, of Lakeville passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his home under the care of his family and hospice. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Prior) St. George. Born in Arlington, he was the son of the late Christopher F. St. George and Anna M. (Conarchy) St. George. Kevin served honorably in the United States Air Force and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Bronze Service Star, and the Ambassador for Peace Medal. Kevin was an electrician and 74-year member of the IBEW Local 103. He was proud to have worked in many of Boston's iconic buildings. He was an active member of the Lakeville community, serving on the Town Planning Board for 35-years. He volunteered for numerous other committees and initiatives over the years, to improve and preserve the town he loved so much. In 2007 Kevin was named Southcoast's Man of the Year in recognition of his many years of community service. Kevin was also a member of the Lakeville Lions Club, served several terms as President, and in 2017 was honored with the William T. Murphy Sight Award in recognition of dedication to MA Lions Eye Research Fund. He was a man of faith and saw God's hand in the beautiful sunsets he admired from his home on the lake. He enjoyed sailing, telling dad jokes, drives to the Cape with his Elizabeth, and taking the scenic route, as well as walking his dog and faithful friend Casey. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal and steadfast friend. He will be missed beyond measure. In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, Kevin is survived by his son Christopher, and his daughter Michelle and her husband Allan. A funeral procession will form at Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., Lakeville on Wednesday, May 25th at 11:30, thence to St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., East Freetown where a funeral mass will be held for the repose of his soul at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Kevin to the Middleboro Special Olympics Swim Team via the MA Special Olympics Website .
