Konstantine Papakonstantinou, 92 of Brockton, MA passed away peacefully on November 13, 2021, after a brief illness.
Born on April 6, 1929 in Avgerinos Kozani Greece and emigrated to the United States in 1966 settling in Brockton MA. He worked at AB Tannery and Droukas Cut and Sole.
After retirement he divided his time between Brockton and Avgerinos Greece. He enjoyed writing for the village newspaper and wrote many poems that reflected his roots.
Beloved husband of the late Sanna (Tsimtsos) Papakonstantinou.
He was the loving father to Maria Bourlogiannis and husband Yanni, Paraskevi (Papakonstantinou) Constantine and Fiancé James Bentley. Proud grandfather to George Bourlogiannis and his wife Stephanie, Konstantine Bourlogiannis and his wife Kelly, Thanasi Bourlogiannis and his wife Brianna. His smile was as big as his heart when he was with his great grand children Sanna and Yanni Bourlogiannis. He also leaves behind many cousin's nieces and nephews.
His larger than life personality could light up the darkest of rooms. His legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.
Calling hours in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Monday, November 29th,from 10:00-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the church at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
