Obituary

Larine (Brown) Parsons, age 69, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully at her home on November 24, 2022. Larine was born in Holly Hill, SC, daughter of the late Allen and Okello (Gilmore) Brown.

A caring and giving person, Larine worked as a Social Worker in Boston for 15 years and retired after 30 years working in healthcare. She lovingly cared for patients at various nursing homes in the area. Time spent with her family was important to her, especially her grandchildren.

Larine is survived by her two sons Rayshawn Brown of Rockland and Steven Parsons, Jr. of Dorchester and two grandchildren Mia and Shayla Brown. She was the sister of Louvenia Simmons, Betty Brown, Catherine White, Jessie Mae Brown, Lilly Mae Brown and the late Alleen Brown, Allen Brown and Walter Brown.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton on Saturday, December 10, from 11am-1pm.
