Larry J. Cornette, 73, of Rockland passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born June 18, 1945 in Kingsport, TN, Larry was the son of Virgie M. Cornette. Larry was a truck driver for F. W. Webb Company in Brockton and a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam. Larry enjoyed deer hunting and in the early 2000's, was a promoter of gospel music for local churches with Pastor Eddie Campbell. He is survived by his wife Brenda Garcia-Cornette and his children, Michael, Winton, Larry, Vera, Joanne, and Leona, his 18 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, January 28th at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00PM-4:00PM.
