Online Obituaries Latoya T. Simmons, 35, of Brockton and formerly of Boston, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 under the care of hospice surrounded by her family. Born July 31, 1981 in Boston, MA she was a daughter of Nathaniel Simmons, Sr. and Betty Jean (Evans) Simmons. Raised and educated in Boston, Latoya attended the Grover Cleveland School, Boston. Some of Latoyas hobbies were playing cards (a game of spades), she enjoyed music, and most of all she loved her family parties. In addition to her parents, Nathaniel Simmons, Sr. and Betty Jean (Evans) Simmons, Latoya is survived by her four children, Marquis Forbes, Latazia Forbes, Amari Forbes and Jamyia Forbes; her siblings, Sharon Evans, Ronnie Johnson, Jacqueline Johnson, Joyce Johnson, Kimerick Johnson, Angela Johnson, Preston Johnson, Latanya Simmons, Lashanda Simmons and her husband Rick, Tanya Evans, Sharon Lender, Reggie Simmons, Nathaniel Simmons, Jr. and his wife Jeannie, Robert Simmons and Vickie Lee. She is also survived by her several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Tuesday, February 21st at 1:00PM. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00AM -1:00PM.
