Obituary

Laura L. (LaBate) Ildefonso, age 40, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital. She was the loving mother of Melena Ildefonso of Brockton. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she remained a lifelong resident. Laura was a hard worker. She had been a bartender at Oleo’s Pub, and a private resident house cleaner for many years. She was always bubbly, smiling, and outgoing, and totally enjoyed bargain hunting.
Laura is also survived by her foster father David Spillane, Jr. of Brockton; a brother Anthony Putignano, and former husband Domingo Ildefonso all of Brockton. She was the foster daughter of the late Jo A. (Putignano) Spillane.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Saturday, 1-2pm. A memorial service will be held at 2pm. Donations in Laura’s name may be made to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts, 1300 West Elm Street Ext., Brockton, MA 02301.
