Laura J. Luiz, 49, of Bridgewater, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Boston Medical Center after a sudden illness. Born June 27, 1969 in Stoughton, she was the daughter of Joette M. (Sliney) Luiz and Gerald B. Luiz. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Sean M. Leurini-Luiz; her sister, Holly A. Luiz; her fiancé, Martin J. Burke; she is also survived by aunts and many cousins. Laura enjoyed being outdoors whether it was camping or going to the beach. She valued spending time with so many of her close friends. Lifelong Bridgewater resident, she attended Bridgewater Schools and graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham High School. Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, March 16th from 1:00-4:00PM. Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
