Laurie Ann (Shepherd) Donnelly, 42, of Rockland, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020. She was the wife of Mark E. Donnelly. Born in Weymouth on July 14, 1977, she was the daughter of Ellen T. (MacPherson) Shepherd and Roger B. Shepherd. Laurie was a class of 1995 graduate of Weymouth High School where she played soccer, ran track and was a WHS cheerleader. She was a dedicated veterinary technician. Laurie enjoyed row-boating; turtle and frog-catching with her son, Justin; swimming; caring for animals-especially rescues; art work, crafts, music and spending time, especially rainy days with her husband. Laurie is survived by her husband, Mark E. Donnelly; her son Justin G. Walsh; her parents Ellen T. Shepherd and Roger B. Shepherd; her brother Daniel J. Shepherd; her nieces Margaret E. Shepherd and Meredith H. Shepherd; and her nephew James D. Shepherd. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, services will be private.
