Obituary

LaVerne L. (Metz) Wiles age 79 of Brockton, died Wednesday October 10, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Robert Wiles. LaVerne was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 35 years. Previously she had lived in Chelsea.

LaVerne was a stay at home mother devoted to her home and family. She loved Bingo, cross word puzzles and dogs. She also enjoyed dancing, playing cards and crafts. LaVerne’s true joy in life was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

LaVerne was the mother of Barbara Pisano of Peabody, Robert Wiles of Stoughton, Donna Wiles of Brockton, LaVerne Wiles of Randolph and the late Paul Wiles. She leaves 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and was the sister of Carl Metz of New Hampshire and Gene Metz of Ohio.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday 9-10 am followed by a funeral service at 10 am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
