Lawrence T. Ethier Lawrence T. Ethier , 90, of Brockton, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at his home in Brockton. He was the husband of Alice M. (Fellows) Ethier. Born September 24, 1920 in Brockton, he was a son of the late Louis Ethier and Lena (Beautiette) Ethier. Raised and educated in Brockton, Lawrence worked as a welder at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy. He also owned a gas station and repair shop in Avon. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and gardening. He just recently celebrated his 90th birthday with his family. He is survived by his wife, Alice M. (Fellows) Ethier of Brockton; his sister, Vivian M. Pircio and her husband Joseph and a sister-in-law, Barbara Ethier all of Brockton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Oscar and Andrew Ethier.
