Obituary

Lawrence J. Kehr Lawrence J. Kehr , 75, of Brockton died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, December 19, 2007. He was the beloved husband of Lilly S. (Kirel- Colombo) Kehr and the late Esther Visalli. Born July 16, 1932 in Collingswood, New Jersey he was the son of the late Leo J. and Eugenia S. (Gros) Kehr. Mr. Kehr was a resident of Dorchester and Stoughton before moving to Brockton thirty five years ago. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard for three years. Larry had been employed as a supervisor for Printed Circuit Co. in Waltham and then for Pilgrim Badge Labels in Boston until his retirement. During retirement he worked as a part time truck driver for Capital Lease Group in Brockton. Larry was a sports fan; member of the Westgate Bowling league for many years; an avid reader; and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends more than anything. He is survived by his wife, Lilly Kehr; his daughter MaryEllen Fayad of San Francisco, CA; two step daughters, Cindy (Colombo) Jakutis and her husband John of Brockton; Jean (Colombo) Shellington and her husband Doug of Scituate; two grandchildren, Alisa and John Jakutis both of Brockton; his brother, John Kehr of Cherry Hill, NJ; his sister, (the late) Elizabeth Jean Musselman of Westmont, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, December 27th at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Wednesday 4:00-7:00PM.
