Obituary

Leah M. (Jarvis) Crowley 85 years of Wareham died November 20, 2005 at the Forestview Nursing Home in Wareham after a brief illness. She was born in Brockton a daughter of the late Arthur G. and Cora (Emond) Jarvis. She was raised and educated in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1938. For over 30 years she had resided in West Bridgewater before making her home in Wareham.
Mrs. Crowley had been a bookkeeper at the Consumer Advisory Commission and the Old Colony Elderly Services both in Brockton.
Her hobbies included gardening and antiquing.
She is survived by two sons William E. Crowley, Jr. of Wareham and Lawrence E. Crowley of California; four grandchildren, 1 great grandson and a great granddaughter.
She also leaves two brothers Arthur G. Jarvis, Jr. of Brockton, Robert D. Jarvis of California, a sister Phyllis Distasi of Brockton and several nieces and nephews
She was the mother of the late James C, David R, and Michael E. Crowley
A graveside service will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater Friday, December 2, at 1 pm.
