Lelie Selma (Cole) Fisher, 96, of Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Elwood I. Fisher.
Born July 20, 1921 in Bourne, she was the daughter of the late Albion Cole and Lelie (Chase) Cole.
Lelie was a Secretary for 3M Manufacturing Company in Needham for several years. She was a member of the Central Square Congregational Church in Bridgewater.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Dale E. Fisher and his wife Judith D. Fisher of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Dr. Christopher C. Fisher and his wife Cynthia of Berkley, Dr. Mark E. Fisher and his wife Jill of Rome, GA, Drs. Matthew A. Fisher and his wife Nisha of Easton, Jana Mickiewicz and her husband Christopher of Bridgewater and Drs. Amy Vega and her husband Nicholas of Kingston; great-grandmother of Brooke and Lucy Fisher of Berkley, Nate, Sarah and Jacob Fisher of Rome, GA, Rhiya, Dylan and Alysha Fisher of Easton, Leah, Cole and Cooper Mickiewicz of Bridgewater and Brett, Ryleigh and Otis Vega of Kingston; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many wonderful friends.
Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Sunday, January 7th from 1:00-4:00PM followed by a prayer service at 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Square Congregational Church Women's Guild and Fellowship, 71 Central Sq., Bridgewater, MA 02324.
