Leo F. Mockus, Jr., 84, of Brockton passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at his home. He was the husband of Rose A. (Richards) Mockus. Born December 12, 1933 in Brockton he was the son of the late Leo F., Sr. and Anna (Jacobs) Mockus. Leo proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed for many years as a nurse's aide at the Brockton Veterans Hospital and following his retirement worked part time at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed travelling to Foxwoods. In addition to his wife, Rose, he is survived by his children; Penny Mattus and Bruce, Leo F. Mockus, III and Lisa, William Mockus and Lucie, Thomas Mockus and Annemarie and Nancy Barry and William; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Calling hours Monday, November 19th in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton from 12:00 to 3:00PM followed by a prayer service at 3:00PM. Private cremation will follow.
