Unaka of Brockton May 7, 2003, Leona M. (Crowley) Unaka. Beloved wife of Philip F. Unaka, Sr. Mother of Timothy Crowley, Leon Unaka and Philip F. Unaka, Jr. Grandmother of Kayla Crowley and Madelyn Unaka.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 1 Abby Lane, Middleboro, MA 02346.

Obituary

Mrs. Unaka died Wednesday evening at the Brockton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Wareham, daughter of the late Lawrence and Nora (Murphy) Crowley. She was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. She had been a homemaker in her own home, raising her 3 sons. She enjoyed timespent with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Philip F. Unaka, Sr., 3 sons Timothy Crowley of Taunton, Leon Unaka of N. Attleboro and Philip F. Unaka, Jr. of Brockton, 2 granddaughters Kayla Crowley and Madelyn Unaka, 2 sisters Barbara Meehan of Brockton and Alice Adie of Mansfield and many nieces and nephews.
