Martin, of Brockton, May 18, 2006, Leonard T. Martin, 73 years. Devoted husband of Diana E. (Dargan) Martin. Loving father of Philip Martin of Plymouth and Stacy, Darrell and Holly Martin all of Brockton. He also leaves five grandchildren.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery at 1pm. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5pm. Donations in Leonard’s name may be made to the MSPCA, 1300 West Elm St. Ext. Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary

Leonard T. Martin died Thursday at his home after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in the Mission Hill section of Boston, he was the son of the late Thomas and Leonora (Rizzutto) Martin. He was a graduate of Boston English High School and after serving in the US Air Force during Korea, he attended Boston University. He had been employed for many years at Gertman’s Meat Company in Boston, Quincy Savings Bank and retired from Fallon Ambulance Company in Milton. He was a former member of the Masonic Temple Tri-Town Lodge of Hanson and St. Georges Lodge in Brockton. He was an avid reader, stamp collector, enjoyed animals and time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife Diana E. (Dargan) Martin, two sons Philip Martin of Plymouth and Darrell Martin of Brockton, two daughters Stacy and Holly Martin both of Brockton, and five grandchildren.
