Chubbuck of Brockton March 28, 2004 Lester G. “Hank” Chubbuck 83 years. Husband of the late Delia R. “Dill” (Gatt) Chubbuck. Father of Donna J. Ryan and her husband Michael of Bridgewater; Kathryn E. Silva and her husband Joseph of Bridgewater and Janet L. Herbert and her husband William of Taunton.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 11 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visitations Wednesday 10–11 am. Donations in Hank’s memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice 14 Page Terr., Stoughton, MA 02072.

Obituary

Mr. Chubbuck died Sunday morning at BayPointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. He was born in Brockton son of the late Frederick and Barbara (Sartwell) Chubbuck and remained a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Attended Brockton schools and during WW II served in the US Army in the European Theater.

At the time of his retirement he had been employed at the US Army Labs in Natick for 20 years.

He enjoyed gardening both vegetable and flower.

He was the husband of the late Delia R. “Dill” (Gatt) Chubbuck. Father of Donna J. Ryan and her husband Michael of Bridgewater; Kathryn E. Silva and her husband Joseph of Bridgewater and Janet L. Herbert and her husband William of Taunton.He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a brother Kenneth Chubbuck of California and many nieces and nephews.He was the brother of the late Gladys Gomes, Ruth Adwan, Doris Pierce, Howard “Buddy” Chubbuck, Vernon, Frederick and Harold Chubbuck.
