Liberty (Libby), 96 of Falmouth, Massachusetts died peacefully on December 22, 2024 at the Falmouth Hospital after a brief illness.
Libby was born October 3, 1928 in Albania to Greek parents who emigrated to America when she was 8 years old and settled in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Libby enjoyed her work as a secretary at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton for many years. She was an excellent cook and an accomplished gardener and took pride in reviving sick plants to their former glory. Her garden at her residence at the Atria Assisted Living in Falmouth yielded beautiful flowers and dozens of cucumbers she shared with her delightful aids. Libby is survived by her sons James and his wife Cherie of Falmouth, John of Sandwich and her grandsons Christian and wife Alexa, her beloved great granddaughter Siena Liberty of Arlington and Alexander and partner Nicole Haddad of Quincy.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Christy and her sister Mary Koss of Taunton.
Calling hours in the annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Saturday, December 28th from 11:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service in the church at 12:00PM. Interment will be in Melrose Cemetery will be private.
