Obituary

Lillian L. (Lynch) Beckman, age 90, of Brockton, died peacefully at her home, December 11, 2014. She was the wife of the late Oscar Beckman. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Dahl) Lynch. Lillian was a graduate of Brockton High School and had been employed for many years at the Brockton VA Medical Center. She loved to travel and enjoyed bingo and dancing.
Lillian is survived by her children Laura Landry, Charles Beckman, Jeffrey Beckman and Leonard Beckman all of Brockton, Dorothy Copeland of Taunton and Sherri-Lyn Beckman-Forte of Texas; a sister Dorothy Briand of Kingston and brother Robert Lynch and his wife Rose of California; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday, 3-5:30, followed by a funeral service at 5:30pm. Donations in Lillian’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
