Obituary

Lillian J. “Blossom” (Shilonski) Alger, age 77, of Brockton, died peacefully, October 5, 2016. Lillian was the wife of the late Donald E. Alger, Sr. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Marion (Beals) Shilonski. She stayed home to raise her family, and had been a volunteer at Catholic Charities and The Charity Guild in Brockton. She enjoyed time with her family, gardening and playing cards.

Lillian is survived by her children Donald Jr., and his partner Cynthia Higgins of Brockton, Robert and his wife Terri of Easton, John and his partner Heidi MacPhelemy of Middleboro, Edward of Brockton, Michael and his wife Eugenia of Middleboro and Michele and her fiancé Eric Mills of East Bridgewater; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Marion Legarde and Anthony, John, Dennis and Carol Shilonski.
