Lillian E. Donahue, 86, of Raynham went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island Philip Hulitar Center in Providence, R.I.
Born June 8, 1926 in Holbrook she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ethel (Phillips) Burr. One of her greatest joys was traveling both domestically and internationally. Some of her favorite memories were of her family cruise to Alaska; visiting Spain and northern Africa; as well as her visit to the former Soviet Union where she had the privilege of attending the Reagan-Gorbachev Summit Reception for President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan and meeting Secretary of State George Schultz.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Peluso Jr. and her second husband, Howard "Jack" Donahue, Sr. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Joseph R. Peluso of Cumberland, RI and Lt. Col. Francis K. Peluso USAF (ret) of Leesburg, VA; her two sisters, Muriel Newell and Eleanor McRae both of Plymouth; her one brother, Robert Burr of Brockton; her five grandchildren, Jay Peluso of Richmond, VA, Michele Wright of Cumberland, RI, Dr. Christopher Peluso of Worcester, Anthony Peluso of Columbus, OH and Jonathan Peluso of Leesburg, VA; and her two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Brendon Wright of Cumberland, RI.
