Marchand of Brockton, December 12, 2003, Lillian A. (Buckawicki) Marchand, 81 years. Wife of the late Donald J. Marchand. Mother of Rosemary Burch of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Kathleen L. Marchand of So. Easton and Dorothy J. Peck of Whitman. Grandmother of Kevin and Kelly Colarusso and Melissa Peck.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 10 am. Burial in Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland. Visiting hours Monday 3-7 pm. Donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St.,Framingham, MA 01701.

Obituary

Mrs. Marchand died Friday morning at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a brief illness. Born in West Hanvover and raised in both West Hanover and Rockland, daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline (Minkowska) Buckawicki. Attended schools in Hanover and Rockland. Graduate of Rockland High School. She had been employed as a bank teller at the Rockland Trust Bank in Rockland, MA. She had been a Brockton resident since 1953. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and listening to classical music. Longtime communicant of St. Colman Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Rosemary Burch of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Kathleen L. Marchand of So. Easton and Dorothy J. Peck of Whitman, three grandchildren, Kevin and Kelly Colarusso and Melissa Peck, two nieces and one nephew.

Wife of the late Donald J. Marchand and sister of the late Anthony Buckawicki, Jr.
