Rideout of Holbrook December 22, 2002 Lillian E. (Lambert)(Carney) Rideout 78 years. Wife of the late Emerson E. Rideout. Mother of Charles J. Carney and his wife Roseanne of Brockton; Richard D. Carney and his wife Paula of Holbrook; Wayne S. Rideout and his wife Kathleen of Halifax; Mark S. Rideout and his wife Audrey of Millis and the late Emerson Rideout, Jr. and Walter F. Carney. Grandmother of Scott, Bridget, Kerry, Kara, Wayne, Sean, Michael, Tracy, Chris, Christina, Derek, Stephanie, Christian and Mary. Sister of Bessie Ieronimo of Halifax.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 11 am. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30 pm. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA.

Obituary

Mrs. Rideout died Sunday morning in the Mildred Alford Nursing Home, Abington after a lengthy illness.She was born and raised in Boston a daughter of the late George A. and Margaret J. (Clark) Lambert. She has been a resident of Holbrook and Brockton for many years.

Mrs. Rideout was a homemaker in her own home and also was a private duty personal caregiver.She loved to play bingo

She is survived by her 4 sons and their wives, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephewsShe was the sister of Bessie Ieronimo of Halifax and the late Margaret Rideout, Thomas Lambert, Ronald Lambert and George Lambert
