Linda Hasouris Linda C. (Cummings) Hasouris, 54, of Brockton, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was the wife of Philip Hasouris. Born May 27, 1954 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Cummings and Martha (Bamford) Cummings. Raised in Brockton she graduated from Brockton High School and then received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State College. Linda worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Department of Mental Retardation for thirty years. Linda was the JOY Youth Director at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton. She was also past president and member of the Rockne Association. She is survived by her husband, Philip Hasouris of Brockton; her daughters, Caitlin Hasouris and Sarah Hasouris both of Brockton; her sisters, Paula Brown of Tennessee, Carole Taccini and her husband Arthur of Brockton, and Donna Cummings of Norwood;her half sister, Kate Cummings of Maine; her in-laws, James and Alexandra (Soteriou) Hasouris both of Brockton; her family friends, Marcus Aponte and John Lagsdon; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her loving pets, dog Lilah and cats Bella, Bobbles, and Beauty. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Monday, March 9th at 11:30AM. Private cremation will follow.
