Obituary

Lisa M. Kane age 59 of Taunton died unexpectedly on Sunday July 29, 2018 at her home. She was the loving wife of James H. Curtis. Lisa was born in Weymouth and raised in Randolph a daughter of Barbara (Bishop) Witty of Brockton and Donald B. Kane Sr. of Easton. For over 20 years she had made her home in Taunton.

Lisa had been a bartender at the Billy Club in Taunton for many years. She will be remembered as a very sociable and outgoing lady with a big heart. She was a talented artist and enjoyed calligraphy. Lisa especially enjoyed time with her husband and dog Lucy.

Lisa leaves one son Jason Dacey of Fall River and 6 grandchildren and was the sister of James Kane of Abington, Jeffrey Kane of Taunton, Barbara Kane of Revere, Brenda Gulczynski of Taunton and the late Donald V. Kane Jr., Robert A. Kane and Debra Kane. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 5-8pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 8am for a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
