Obituary

Lois M. (Streitmater) Foote, 84 years, of Brockton died September 29, 2010 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Walter R. Foote. Born and raised in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Flora (Cormier) Streitmater. Lois resided in Brockton for the past 55 years and enjoyed viewing politics and news on TV along with Red Sox and Patriots games.

She is survived by her sons Steven P. Foote, Chairman of the Brockton Democratic Party, Gregory W. Foote, both of Brockton; two nieces; two nephews and was the sister of the late Jean F. Streitmater.

Services will be private. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
