Loretta Ann (Pircio) Young Loretta Ann (Pircio) Young , 60, of Hanson, died Monday, August 18, 2008 at the home of her sister in North Easton, under the care of her family and Care Alternatives Hospice. She was the wife of the late David P. Young (Brockton Police Officer) and her late long time companion, Steven J. Kozik. Born April 13, 1948 in Brockton, she was the daughter of Joseph J. Pircio and Vivian M. (Ethier) Pircio of Brockton. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1966. Loretta was a long time employee at the Brockton Hospital, where she worked as a Secretary in the Operating Room for 40 years. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Loretta has been a resident of Hanson for the last 20 years and had previously lived in Brockton. She is survived by her parents, Joseph J. Pircio and Vivian M. (Ethier) Pircio of Brockton; her brother, James L. Pircio and his wife Kathy of East Bridgewater; her sisters, Claire M. Maitland of North Easton and Suzanne T. Shea and her husband Gary of East Bridgewater; she is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was the sister of the late Louis P. Pircio. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, August 21st at 9:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish/St Colman Church, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM.
