Online Obituaries Lorice (Hashem) Hashem, 81, of Brockton, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton. She was the wife of the late Joseph K. Hashem. Born February 27, 1934, in Akoura, Lebanon she was a daughter of the late Jacob Hashem and Felimona Hashem. Lorice was raised in Lebanon and first came to the U.S. in 1967 to Lawrence, MA. Some two and a half years later she made her home in Brockton where she had resided since then. She was a dedicated housewife who enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family and friends. Lorice was a devoted parishioner of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church in Brockton. She also enjoyed playing the card game whist. She is survived by her children, Ramona Hashem, Raymond Hashem and his wife Sheila, Mary Hajj and her husband Rabih; her grandchildren, Chantelle, Katreena, Ramon, Yousef, Jacob, Kayla and Harrison; her sister, Rose Hashem and her many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Steven S. Hashem. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Saturday, January 9th at 9:30AM thence to St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 No. Main St., Brockton where the Service of Devine Mysteries will be celebrated at 10:30AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00-8:00PM with an Incense Service at 7:00PM.
