Lorraine Amelia (Bordeaux) Pratt-Coelho, 85, of West Bridgewater passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the Alliance Healthcare of West Acres. She was the beloved wife of the late Preston Pratt and the late Robert Coelho.

Born January 20, 1938 in Brockton, MA she was the daughter of the late Timothy C. and Amelia M, (Cannon) Bordeaux of West Bridgewater.

She graduated from West Bridgewater High School in 1956 and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State College. In later life, she obtained a Master's degree in Education from Simmons College.

She taught second grade at East Bridgewater Elementary School for many years and moved on to become Vice Principal before retiring in 2001. In her retirement, she divided her time between West Dennis, MA and Boynton Beach, FL.

She enjoyed traveling, socializing with friends, playing cards and singing Karaoke. She also enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren, entertaining them down the Cape, competing against them in mini-golf and cheering them on from the sidelines.

Lorraine was a fun-loving, kind-hearted, hard-working and generous person to all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas T. Pratt and Jeffrey A. Pratt; her daughter in laws, Dawn Pratt and Zophie Pratt; her grandchildren, Ryan Pratt, Calli Pratt, Sadie Pratt and Audrey Pratt, as well as many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was also the sister of Mary MacPherson, Timothy Bordeaux, and Earl Bordeaux. She will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be on Monday, May 22nd from 4:00PM to 7:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 So. Main St.,(Rt.28) West Bridgewater. Funeral services and interment will be private.
