Lorraine F. (Asker) Foster, 92, formerly of Brockton, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024 at home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of the late Kenneth E. Foster.

Born April 23, 1932 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Elliott E. Asker and Elvira S. (Backlund) Asker. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School in 1950.

Lorraine was a National Advertising Manager for the Brockton Enterprise for many years.

She was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church in Brockton.

Lorraine enjoyed Mah Jongg, walking, reading, traveling to most of the States in the United States and had traveled to 20 countries. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Mark Foster and his wife Robin, Scott Foster and his companion Maggie, the late Melody Foster, the late infant daughters, Melanie and Michelle; her grandchildren, Mark Foster and his wife Ryan, Holly Parker and her husband Josh, Melody Russell and her husband Josh; her great-grandchildren; Lana, Jonah, Adrian, Lincoln, Owen, Sonny, Reef and Forest; her brother Stanley Asker and his wife Maureen; her sister-in-law Liz Asker; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Asker and his late wife Elin, Donald Asker and the late Marjorie Heyl and her late husband Ernie.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Friday, June 14th from 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00AM.
