Obituary

Lorraine F. (Cormier) Saganetti, age 85, of Taunton, died peacefully at her home on December 23, 2022. Lorraine was a daughter of the late Francis and Mildred (Jack) Cormier. She was raised in Milton and East Bridgewater and was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School.

For many years, she worked as an operator for both the telephone company and a private answering service.

Lorraine was athletic and enjoyed bowling and playing tennis. She also enjoyed gardening, nature and feeding the birds. Lorraine was a pioneer, an earthy woman who was involved in environmental causes before they became popular. She had a strong work ethic and was devoted to her family.

Lorraine was the mother of Leah Saganetti of Taunton; grandmother of Sheila, Rhiannon and Vanessa Saganetti and aunt of Terry Davis, Lisa Sousa and Steven Davis. She also leaves several great nieces and nephews. Lorraine was the sister of the late Jeanne Ross, longtime companion of the late Henry Augenti and former wife of the late Albert Saganetti.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday, December 30 from 10am-12pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 12pm.
