Lorraine A. (Medina) (Dednah) Sergio, 86, of Bridgewater, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 23 at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. Lorraine was the loving wife of 60 years to Samuel C. Sergio Sr., and the devoted mother of Howard Dednah Jr. (Anna), Philip Dednah, Kathleen Rogers (Dana), Lynne St. Louis (Mark), Samuel Sergio Jr. (Tiffaney) and Brenda Sergio. Raised in Brockton, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Mattias Medina, and Evelyn and Louis Ghelfi. She is survived by her siblings Louis Ghelfi (Ruth) and Evelyn Ferioli (Francis). Lorraine was the loving grandmother to Marc, Kristen, Allison, Eva, Aisha, Shannon, Andrea, DJ, Patricia, Samuel, Noelle, Christopher, Samuel and Dallis, as well as 3 great grandchildren. Lorraine was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lorraine had a quiet strength that got her through life's many challenges. Lorraine enjoyed her life as a homemaker and was happiest when caring for her family. Her other passions included quilting, baking and doing crossword puzzles. Lorraine was a master quilter and gifted dozens of quilts over the course of her many years. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
