Casieri of Brockton, June 9, 2004, Louis Casieri, 86 years. Husband of A. Mary (Pesa) Casieri. Father of Louis M. of California, Mark J. of Brockton and Christopher J. Casieri of RI.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 pm. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm.

Obituary

Mr. Casieri died Wednesday morning at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center after a period of failing health. Born, raised and remained a life long resident of Brockton, son of the late Michele and Anna (Martza) Casieri. During WW II he served in the US Army in the European Theater. For many years he was a leather worker, working in the local shoe industry including Anania Leather. His hobby was caring for his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, A. Mary (Pesa) Casieri, three sons, Louis M. Casieri of California, Mark J. Casieri of Brockton and Christopher J. Casieri of RI., eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
