Louis R. Pucillo, 80, longtime resident of the Brockton area, died May 30, 2016 at Wingate of Norton. He was the loving husband of Nancy G. (Luongo) Pucillo for 58 years. He was born in Boston and raised in the North End, the son of the late Louis F. and Mary (Maduri) Pucillo. He was a well- respected salesman for Quirk Chevrolet in Braintree and later for Best Chevrolet in Hingham for 25 years, retiring in 1998.
Louis was a member and past president of the Truck Association (General Motors) and enjoyed old movies, trivia, and opera. He was an avid reader; loved the Red Sox and Bruins, and was a car enthusiast. Louis loved spending time with his family and will be remembered for his sense of humor and sound advice.
In addition to his wife, Louis is survived by his two daughters Judith Lizio and her husband Peter of Norton and Sandra Pucillo and her partner Dana Gravel of Jericho, VT. He had seven grandchildren Nicole Precourt and her husband Tim, Sarah and Amanda Lizio, Callan, Kai, Dominic and Christian Gravel-Pucillo; three great grandchildren Tyler and Jacob Precourt and Evan Lizio. He was the brother of the late Richard Pucillo.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Thursday 4-7pm. A Memorial Service will in held in the Unitarian Universalist Church 325 W. Elm Street Brockton Friday June 10, 2016 at 1 pm. In memory of Louis please consider donations to the Commission for the Blind 600 Washington Street Boston, MA 02111.
