LOUIS E. WEBBY Louis E. Webby, 84, of Brockton, died suddenly on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the beloved and caring husband of the late Mary L. (Kaine) Webby. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late John J. Webby and Nora B. (Malek) Webby. A lifelong Brockton resident he attended Brockton schools and graduated from Brockton High School. "Lou" worked at the family business "Webby Brothers" and upon its closing, was employed by Goddard Memorial Hospital in Stoughton in the Maintenance Department where his caring nature found him helping nurses in all departments. He even chauffeured them back and forth to the hospital in the blizzard of 1978 when no one was on the road but emergency personnel. Upon retirement, he worked at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton as the sexton. He then again retired to care for his wife, Mary. His unconditional dedication to caring for her was without limit. He has a passion for life, helping others, cooking, gardening, but most enjoyed being with his family. His granddaughter was the light of his life. She had him wrapped around her finger and he had her wrapped around his heart. He was the loving father of Marilou Wilkinson and Terese Webby Becker; devoted grandfather of Laurie Terese Becker; brother of Lillian A. Garnett of Chatham, Mary E. Brown of Maryland, Thomas J. Webby of Carver and Theresa Gogat of West Yarmouth; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late John J. Webby, Jr., Ernest J. Webby, M. Edward Webby, George Webby and Joseph Webby. Flowers as well as donations in Lou's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. MARY L. (KAINE) WEBBY Mary L. (Kaine) Webby, 88, of Brockton died peacefully Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis E. Webby. She was born and raised in Jamaica Plain and was the daughter of the late Edward Kaine and Elizabeth "Betty" Kaine. Mary was a resident of Brockton for over 55 years. Mary worked at the Employers Group Insurance Company prior to her marriage and then later in addition to being a wife and mother worked at Mass Rehabilitation in Brockton as a secretary. She was and active communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and volunteered as a CCD teacher for many years under the dedicated direction of Sister Marie Madigan. Her real passion were her home and family. She was also a member of Lady of Lourdes Ladies Sodality. She was the loving mother of Marilou Wilkinson and Terese Webby Becker; devoted grandmother of Laurie Terese Becker; she is also survived by many nieces and nephew. She was the sister of the late Paul and Richard "Dick" Kaine and Margaret "Peggy" Logan. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, January 25th at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of their soul's at 9:00AM.
