Cass, of East Sandwich, formerly of Brockton, October 27, 2004, Louise E. (Fleury) Cass, 90 years. Wife of the late Chester T. Cass. Devoted mother of Debra Heimerdinger and her husband Ted and Carolyn Lampos and her husband Tom, beloved grandmother of Stacey Gennis and her husband Jim, and great grandmother of Cassandra and Alexandra Gennis.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5pm. Obituary information

Louise E. (Fleury) Cass, 90 years, died peacefully during the third inning of the Red Sox World Series Win, with her family at her side, at the Atrium Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Middleboro. She was born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late Albert and Anne (Kearns) Fleury. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and for many years she had been employed at the former Mae Perry Dress Salon in Brockton. She was a longtime resident of Brockton who spent summers with her family in East Sandwich. After her husband’s death in 1982 she moved permanently to East Sandwich. For the past three years she had been a resident of the Atrium Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Louise was an avid bowler playing in various leagues at Westgate Lanes and in Hyannis; was a 40 year member of the Women’s Card Club in Brockton, enjoyed knitting, especially an Irish knit pattern, and for many years was involved as an owner of thoroughbred race horses. She was a lifelong, devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox who never missed a game and always joked that she had faith that the Red Sox would some day win the World Series.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Heimerdinger of San Francisco, CA, and Carolyn Lampos of Brockton, 1 granddaughter, Stacey Gennis of N. Easton, 2 great granddaughters Cassandra and Alexandra Gennis of N. Easton, three sisters, Rita Maddan of New York, Alice King of Sandwich, and Georgiana LaFratta of Monument Beach, MA and many nieces and nephews.

She was the wife of the late Chester T. Cass, and sister of the late Irene Perry, Dorothy Coy, Lillian Roy and Albert Fleury.
