Obituary

Louise A. (Moquin) Grant, age 68 of Brockton, died Thursday December 11, 2014 at Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital. She was the loving wife of Mariner W. Grant for 47 years. Louise was born in Weymouth and raised in Pembroke a daughter of the late Arthur and Louise (Hamilton) Moquin and had lived in Brockton for over 30 years.
Louise was a homemaker devoted to her home and family and enjoyed crocheting, her pets, watching her soap operas and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Mariner, Louise is survived by her five children Keith Ryan of Rhode Island, Kim-Marie Ryan of Whitman, Corey Grant of Arlington and Joan Terry and Lauren Belmont both of Brockton. She leaves two sisters Joan Soper of Abington and Cynthia Kasabian Halifax, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Monday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Louise’s name to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
