Louise C. (Feroli) Iafrate
Louise Caroline (Feroli) Iafrate, 84, of Brockton, died on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Woodlands Care Center in Gainesville, Florida after a 9 month courageous battle against a brain tumor.
Born in Brockton, Massachusetts on February 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Giberti) Feroli. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and was very active in their annual reunion events.
She was married to the late Ralph P. Iafrate, a former health inspector for the City of Brockton. She worked for over 20 years for ATT until her retirement.
Later in life, Louise was a volunteer in the gift shop at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts. She enjoyed reading, traveling and crocheting.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Donna Iafrate, a school teacher in Quebec City; her son, Peter Iafrate, a pharmacist in Gainesville, Florida; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Iafrate; her grandchildren, Bobby and David; her brothers, John, Bob, and Edward Feroli all living in Maryland; she is also survived by her 20 year companion, Mort Feinberg and his son, Andy, daughter Lori, and grandson, Nathan. She was the sister of the late Alfred Feroli and Gloria Castro.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, AUGUST 7th at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Friday, AUGUST 6th from 4:00-8:00PM.
