Obituary

Louise M. (Harrington) Plumb age 87 of Halifax, formerly of Brockton, died Tuesday May 10, 2016 at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Roderick E. Plumb. Louise was born in Boston and raised in Charlestown and had lived in Brockton for many years before moving to Halifax in 2014.
Louise retired from Chadwick’s of Boston after many years as a quality control inspector.
She cherished her antique doll collection and creating ceramic gifts for family and friends. Louise also loved shopping for bargains. Most importantly, Louise treasured time her with friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Louise was the mother of David Plumb and his wife Patti-Anne of Pembroke, Rick Plumb and his wife Maureen Blanchard of Clearwater, FL and the late Kathleen “Kathy” Plumb. She leaves 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and was the sister of Anna Marie Harrington of Boston and the late John J. Harrington and Kathleen R. Plumb.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday May 14, from 9-10am, followed by a Service at 10am. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
