Obituary

Louise Provasi, age 95, of Brockton formerly of Bridgewater, died February 7, 2005 at the Braemoor Rehab & Nursing Ctr. Born in Bridgewater to the late Peter and Elvira (Lenzi) Provasi. Ms. Provasi was employed with Barbour Welt Co. “local main stream shoe manufacturer in Brockton”. Louise was inseparable with her sister Josephine, they live together and enjoyed everything like twins until Josephine’s death in 1990. Those enjoyable moments were dancing and spending time with her extended family and friends. Louise is survived by a nephew Joseph Laughlin of Florida, nieces Bette Collins of Plymouth, Mary Sullivan of Florida, Louise O’Connor of North Carolina, Nancy Carter of North Easton, and Patricia Sullivan of Falmouth. Also survived by several grandnieces, nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Edna McMenamy, Mary Laughlin and Josephine Provasi. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Louise may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
