Lucy (Nuovo) Bagas Lucy (Nuovo) Bagas , of Brockton, died Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Alexander Bagas. Born December 27, 1914 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Vito Nuovo and Carmelia (Minerva) Nuovo. Raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School. Lucy was a Brockton resident her entire life. She was a housewife for many years and loved to cook. Lucy was also an avid Redsox, Patriots and Celtics fan. She is survived by her children, George Bagas of Marco Island, Florida and Thomas Bagas of Quincy; her grandchildren, Kathleen Demers of New Hampshire, Dr. Suzanne Bagas of Delaware and George A. Bagas of Chicago; her great-grandchildren, Cassie, David and Alex Stevens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alfonse Nuovo, Joseph Nuovo, Samuel Nuovo, Frank Nuovo, Rose Monahan and Louise DiMarzio. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, June 19th from 11:00-1:00PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 1:00PM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
