Luis Mendes de Andrade,91, of Brockton, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at his home under the care of his family and hospice.  He was the husband of the late Alcinda dos Santos Andrade.

Born on December 13, 1930 in Sao Filipe, Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of  the late Domingos Mendes de Andrade and Ana Monteiro Galvao.

He is also survived by 14 children, 44 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be in the Nova Alianca Church of the Nazarene, 38 Mystic St., Brockton on Sunday from 4:00-8:00PM.  Funeral Service will also be at Nova Alianca Church of the Nazarene on Monday at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
