Luisa Pires Fontes Luisa Pires Fontes , 88, of Brockton, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Embassy Nursing and Rehabilitaion Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Andre Fontes. Born February 1, 1921 in Fogo, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Santos Pires and Maria Silva Pires. She is survived by her children, Joaquim Fontes, Vericio Fontes, Florencio Fontes, and the late Aurora V. Fontes. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Wednesday, January 27th at a time to be announced followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton.
