Luiz D. Moreno Luiz D. Moreno , of Brockton, died Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Brockton Hospital after being stricken ill at home. He was the husband of Andreza (Lopes) Moreno. Born May 13, 1929 in Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Joao Moreno and Maria (DaPaz) Moreno. Mr. Moreno was a retired construction worker in Cape Verde and he has been a Brockton resident for the last 12 years. He is survived by his children, Maria Luiza, Maria Cecilia, Jose Moreno, Maria Salome, E. Manuel Moreno, Carlos Moreno, Maria Filomena, and E. Manuel Joaquim; he is the brother of Oligaria Monteiro; he is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Isabelle Gomes. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, November 17th at 8:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 9:00AM.
