Obituary

Lynne Marie Woods, age 81, of Brockton, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Woods, Jr. (Officer of the Plymouth County Sheriff's Dept.).

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Anstey) Driscoll and was preceded in death by her two siblings.

Lynne previously worked as a receiving clerk at Chadwick's of Boston prior to retirement.

Her pastimes include working on her flower garden and plants she had in her home, trying new foods from recipes she found, shopping, listening to music, and spending time on her iPad whether scrolling though her Facebook, Instagram, listening to YouTube music, FaceTime family, or shopping for clothes online. She enjoyed going to special events but most of all she cherished time well spent with her children (4), grandchildren (5), and great-grandchild.

She will be remembered for being vibrant, funny, caring, nurturing, empathetic, supportive, respectful, attentive and compassionate. All traits and qualities that describe an amazing woman.

Lynne is survived by her 4 children and their families: Daniel Woods and his wife Gracie and daughter (granddaughter) Charlotte Hannah Woods, of Stoughton, MA and Perth, Scotland, UK; Mishele-Shellre Woods and her fiancé Joseph Mancuso of Brockton and Millbury; Kelly Duby and her husband Jeremy of Brockton; and Lynnann woods and her partner Keith Krepon of Northport, FL; her grandchildren, Khory Conway and his wife Abbi, Kourtney Conway, Amanda Duby Haley and her husband Shawn, Rebecca Duby and her fiancé Cody Verge and their daughter (great-granddaughter) Vivian Rose Verge.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit Lynne's family on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton.
