Obituary

Madeleine E (Beliveau) Hinglebine 87, of Brockton died Friday April 29, 2016 at the home of her nephew in Middleboro following a brief illness. She was born and remained a lifelong resident of Brockton. Madeleine was the daughter of the late Alphonse J and Lillian V. (LaLiberte) Beliveau. She was a 1946 graduate of St. Patrick’s High School and then to the Williams Business School both formerly in Brockton. Madeleine worked for the Brockton Treasurers Office for 32 years, retiring as Head Clerk in 1978. She also taught sewing and needlework for 20 years at the Brockton High School evening program. She had been a lifetime communicant of Sacred Heart Church and had volunteered for over 12 years until its closing.
Madeleine was the wife of the late Robert Hinglebine and sister of the late Roger, Russell and Wilfrid Beliveau and Rita St. Hilaire. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Monday 5-8pm in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton. A procession will form at the funeral home Tuesday at 8am for a funeral mass in St. Ann’s Church W. Bridgewater at 9am. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne at 11:15am.
