Madeline L. (Zarrella) Cerone Madeline Louise (Zarrella) Cerone, 82, of Orlando, Florida and formerly of Brockton, Whitman, and Hanson, died Friday, March 13, 2009 in Florida. She was the former wife of Peter A. Cerone. Born January 14, 1927 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late James V. Zarrella and Columba (Proccacini) Zarrella. Raised in Brockton, she attended Brockton Schools and Brockton Business College. Mrs. Cerone was a Secretary and a Cake Decorator. She had worked for Otis Leather in Brockton, The Donut Kettle in Hanson, numerous hotels in Florida, and she was a coordinator for Meals on Wheels in Florida. She was a member of the Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed cake decorating, gardening, and her family. She is survived by her Children, Gayle Dettinger and her husband Wayne of Arizona, Andrew Cerone and his wife Renee of Florida, Susan Johnson and her husband Michael of Florida, and Peter Cerone and his wife Melissa of Florida; her sister, Viola Fazio of Florida; her brother, Albert Zarrella of Brockton; sister-in-law of Lucienne Wilkinson of Brockton; she is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jenny Capozzi, Rose D'Addario, Frank Zarrella, and Rita DiNunno and she was the sister-in-law of the late Marcelle Martin. Funeral Information A Memorial service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Friday, July 24th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
