Obituary

Madeline (Locke)(Donovan) Cunningham age 83, of Brockton, died Friday February 1, 2013 at the Norwell Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a period of failing health. Madeline was born in Brockton a daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Simpson) Greene and remained a lifelong resident of the city. She had worked several jobs in Brockton including the Eastern Edison Company, the cafeterias at North Junior High and the Raymond Elementary School and Howard Johnson. However, her true joy in life was caring for her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Madeline was the mother Steven Locke of Quincy, John Donovan of Brockton, James Donovan of Quincy and the late Thomas, Lindajean and Janet Locke and Sandra Donovan. She leaves four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Malcolm, Junior, Gordon and Beatrice Greene.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday 11 am to 12:30 pm followed by a Prayer Service at 12:30 pm. Burial will be private.
