Manuel R. Cabral Manuel R. Cabral , 54, of Brockton, died Saturday evening, April 21, 2007 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness. He was the husband of Maria A. (Pina) Cabral. Born May 4, 1952 in Brava, Cape Verde, he was the son of Teodora (Ramos) Cabral of Dorchester and the late Casimiro Cabral. He was raised and educated in Cape Verde and came to live in Dorchester in 1987. Mr. Cabral worked for Lite Control of Hanson for several years. He enjoyed working a carpenter and other construction jobs. He has been a Brockton resident for over 14 years and was a communicant of St. Margarets Church and St Edith Stein Parish. He is survived by his wife, Maria A. (Pina) Cabral; his children, Jason C. Cabral, Manuel R. Cabral , Jr., and Luisa Cabral all of Brockton; his grandchildren, Kevin and Jalen Cabral; his mother, Teodora (Ramos) Cabral of Dorchester; his sisters and brother, Maria Santos Cabral, Carolina Cabral, and Joao Ramos all of Dorchester; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, April 25th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St Edith Stein Parish/St Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
